When it comes to visiting Disneyland, Orlando, Florida you have a number of options open to you with regards to accommodation. One can either choose to stay in a hotel, motel or villa close to this very popular resort or one can actually stay in the hotels that are actually based in Disneyland itself.

The biggest benefit to be gained from staying at one of the resorts hotels rather than those that are located close by is easy accessibility to all the attractions. Staying at one of the Disneyland hotels allows you to visit the attractions at times which suit you.

Certainly a Disneyland holiday is the perfect family holiday as there is plenty of things to keep everyone amused. Along with the four many theme parks (Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Hollywood and Animal Kingdom) there are the two water parks (Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon).

If you are going to be visiting Disney Animal Kingdom during your visit to this resort then arrange to get there for early in the morning. If you can arrange to be there so that you take the first safari bus out as the chances of you see the wildlife kept in the park is greatly increased. Unfortunately late morning and early afternoon is not advisable to visit this area as the animals will have gone into hiding to protect themselves from the heat of the day.

Booking any of the Disneyland accommodation is best done well in advance of your holiday dates to ensure that you get the accommodation that you want. Plus this is even more crucial if you intend to visit the resort right at the height of the summer season.

You should be aware that during the summer Orlando is a place where it does rain and thunderstorms do occur. The problem is that as soon as it rains or a thunderstorm happens all rides are closed down to help protect Disneyland’s customers. So you need to be aware that if you stand for hours in a queue to get on one of the many great rides and it starts to rain you will have to return later when it stops raining.

This not only goes for the rides in the parks such as Disney’s Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios and Epcot but also at the water parks as well. So be prepared and make sure that you have other things with you that will keep the kids amused until the sun starts shining once more.

When it comes to enjoying the rides at Disneyland, Orlando there are certain things one can do to make sure that you don’t stand in queues for hours on end. If you are staying at one of the resort hotels having a pass card allows you to opt to book a slot to go on the rides at a certain time in the day and this means you just wander straight in at that time and get on the ride.
