Cats and dogs, we just love them don’t we? Well so do fleas, ticks and mosquitoes. It’s no laughing matter for your pet either.

These three species are spreaders of bacteria and infections, and also can provoke flare ups on the skin.

Death is the worst case scenario, but even an illness can cost hundreds of dollars and a long period of time to treat, so why not choose to stop the problem before it starts?

It would be great to discover a product which tackles all external parasite problems in one go, but usually they only target one or two types.

Bio Spot Spot On Flea and Tick control is one product that does tackle all three and it’s simple as well as effective.

Just apply one tube of the ointment every thirty days and your dog or cat will be tick, flea and mosquito free.

Just apply to the back of the neck in one topical application. It does not hurt or irritate your pet, in fact he won’t notice it is there, but you will, especially when your pet is clear of ticks and fleas.

Two medicines in one, Biospot firstly kills the bugs with a strong insecticide, but also contains methoprene which inhibits the breeding cycle so no more eggs can hatch, keeping your pet insect free.

There’s nothing more embarrassing than finding fleas in your home, but it’s not only embarrassing for your pet, it can actually be fatal if they contract an illness carried by the fleas.

Both cats and dogs can be treated with Biopspot, but make sure you use the right type for your animal as the canine formula may be lethal to felines.

An added bonus is that cats who have had skin conditions may take especially well to Biospot.

One reason why flea bites can be so bad for cats is that they wash the affected area unceasingly which can remove the fur, leaving unsightly bald patches. If your cat is two months old, he will be a good candidate for Biopsot.

In canines, the weight of your dog will dictate the strength you need. the doses are: 15lbs and under, 16-30lbslbs, 30-60, and over 60lbs.

Of course if your dog ever displays the symptoms of an allergic reaction such as fitting, salivation, twitching, shaking and so on, don’t delay - get to the vet as soon as you can and stop the use of Biospot. These are the signs of a toxic reaction to the meds.

As with humans and medication, if your dog is old or sick or has just had a litter, it’s wise to ask the vet if it’s ok to go ahead.

Of course this medication is a topical application and should not be given orally! Keep all medicines locked up and away from little hands and little paws.
