Weddings are one of the most important occasion in the life of two people - the bride and the groom - and it’s a truly personal celebration with the loved ones. Couples want every last detail of it to be personal too, and they do so with personalized wedding favors. For instance, diving enthusiasts choose miniature flippers and goggles as favors, wine collectors choose to give out wine tasting glasses. These favors reflect the couple, and the guests are to remember them through these memorabilia.

Several steps can be taken to make the wedding favors reflect who you are as a couple. These steps are usually dependent on what kind of personalized wedding favors you want to hand out.

Placecards allow the guests to locate their table at the wedding reception. But it’s easy to go beyond simply putting the names of the guests - and the bride and groom - onto the card. You can personalize the placecard holder, as well.

There are several designs for holders, like a pineapple-shaped one for beach-themed weddings. How about a maple leaf-shaped for fall weddings? A snowflake-shaped one for a winter wedding, the wedding details may be printed embossed in the center of the holder. These personalized wedding favors serve as great decorations on the guests’ homes.

A Las Vegas wedding may include playing cards for favors. Arrayed on the table in handy packets, they can include several forms of personalization. The names of the bride and groom could be embossed on the back, while the logo of the hotel that hosts the reception can be emblazoned across the top. Some copyright or trademark restrictions may apply here, but most hotels are happy for the free advertising.

With the said chocolate poker chips, you can make them more personalized by having your names and wedding date embossed on the wrapper. Chocolate mint tins also make great personalized wedding favors. And if you don’t want chocolate mints, you may put in coffee or tea as favors.

Wedding favor boxes and containers are an opportunity to further personalize your gifts to the guests. For instance, you can decorate them with ribbons and attach a personal message. Or you can have your favorite quote on a glass or crystal favor etched, put engagement pictures in decorated frames, or put a sticker on the bottom of miniature silver buckets.

It is easy to personalize the tea lights you plan to present to your guests. You can have the bottom of the tea light holder engraved with your logo or you may add a sticker label that contains your wedding details. Even the candle itself can be personalized. You can add a personal message on the bottom of the tea light that would be revealed when the candle melts.

And to accompany your tea lights, you can distribute personalized strike matches. You can imprint the outside of the matchbook with your monogram or personal logo while the inside flap can contain a small sketch map to the reception. The names of the bridal couple and the date can be printed on the back.

No matter what gift item you choose for your wedding favor, you can always personalize even if it means only adding a small tag or something. Personalized wedding favors will always be appreciated as guests also like to be reminded on how and where they got a particular item.
