Make Your Site More Popular

After you have chosen a domain name and setup a website, one of the first things you will be wondering is how to get visitors to come to your site. This dilemna occurs whether you are setting your site up as a hobby, writing a blog about your main business, creating a niche site in order to make some income using Adsense, or planning to sell your own product.

Cheap and Easy - Article Marketing Works

Of course there are a lot of ways to get visitors to your website, from advertising to trading links with other sites to getting your link into established link directories. All of these have their merits, but one of the easiest and least costly alternative is article marketing.

What are the Advantages of Article Marketing

One of the first things that is positive about article marketing is that it can be done for next to nothing in way of money outlay. In fact, article marketing can be done for free if you have a little time and a gift for writing quickly.

With the simple step of writing about things you know and submitting this new content to content hungry websites, you can get listed in the most important search engines very fast. And by including the link to your website in the resource box that you can insert with your article, you get many links back to your website. These links all give you the chance to get many visitors.

The Bad About Article Marketing

Even though article marketing is a great boon to a brand new website, there are, of course, downsides too. One obvious problem is that you have to write the article that you are going to submit.

Of course, you can always pay somebody else to write the article for you, and there are many services on the web now that allow you to get others to do the writing for you - for a suprisingly cheap price.

The other major obstacle is the time it takes to submit your articles to the article directories and niche sites. The problem here is there are thousands of sites that accept articles - to submit to a large share of these sites takes a lot of time.

This effort can be outsourced too. There are firms that do the article submission for you. And there are software programs that remove much of the tedium from this process as well.
