We live in a crazy dangerous world where every bodies safety is at risk . You can be in danger anywhere you are. Hands down the most popular self defense product is good old fashion pepper spray . It is very inexpensive to buy and packs enough punch to take out most attackers . It is most commonly purchased in a pressurized bottle/tube form that starts as small as keychain pepper spray. You can also get pepper spray in many incognito containers like lipstick, pages, walking weights, and many others . You never have to worry about where to buy pepper spray because there are so many great online stores to buy it from. Remember however that police using pepper spray are given extensive training on how to use it effectively. There are many things that can reduce how effective pepper spray is, things such as wind or missing the face . Tasers are highly effective and can be used from a much longer range . It is said to combine injury reducing benefits of the traditional stun gun with a quantum leap in stopping power via new Electro-Muscular Disruption (EMD) technology. Believe it or not but the new tasers have faster incapacitation then a 9mm hand gun . The Advanced Taser shoots out 2 darts attached to 15 feet of wire and 50,000 volts travels over the wires to over-ride the central nervous system. This provides substantial power to immobilize the attacker.

An Adult Poodle Skirt From The Perspective Of A Nine Year Old Girl
I asked my daughter to write about her experience with poodle skirts, but not an adult poodle skirt. Here is what she typed (with a bit of editing on my part):
My name is Clara and I am nine years old. I went over to my friends’ house a few months ago to play a dancing game. One of my friends was named Becky and was nine years old. The other friend was named Lily and was almost 11. When we played the dancing game I wore a red poodle skirt for my costume–but not an adult poodle skirt. There was a black poodle on the red skirt. When we were playing the gamesigned up for a dancing performance. We each wore a costume and danced with some classical music on. They had two poodle skirts both the color red. But only I wore a poodle skirt.
Lily wore a dress and my other friend Becky didn’t really like to dress up so she didn’t.
Under my poodle skirt I wore a ballet outfit under it–the kind of ballet outfit without the skirt. I was exited to wear it because I had seen the poodle skirts before when I went over.
I don’t think their mom has an adult poodle skirt. Her mom was just interested in getting poodle skirts for her daughters. Lily loves dress up games so she must have been exited to get a poodle skirt. Becky and Lily’s little sister likes to wear their poodle skirts because the little sister loves to goof off and play all the time. Whenever I go over there I usually see her wearing it.
Before I went over to their house I never knew about poodle skirts! When I went home after we played the game I saw my dad on the computer researching on adult poodle skirt and I said “Hey! I wore one of those skirts at my friend’s house!” He told me they were called poodle skirts. I would love to get a poodle skirt of my own because they are so much fun to play with! I would want a pink poodle skirt that comes with a pink scarf.
If I had my own poodle skirt I would wear it to a dance party. If I were just wearing it at home I would turn on some hip-hop music and dance with some cool shades on and some sandals. I would let my sister play too. I would ask my mom and dad to come watch us dance. I would make some paper signs and put them on the walls in my house. I would also make pretend tickets to get in. That’s what I would do with a non adult poodle skirt.
Baby Car Seat
Safety is a priority with parents, and this is reflected in the amount of time and money they are willing to spend on a car seat for their child. Despite the obvious concern for child safety, parents misuse the seats on an average of 79. Most people jeopardized their child by improperly fastening the safety restraints. Both the harness straps and safety belt attachments were frequently too loose. Among the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s study, these mistakes - the most frequent ones - are also the most potentially ‘critical,’ because they pose a great danger to the child.

Make sure you are not one of the parents who overlook obtaining a seat that is custom made for the child’s weigh and age; once you purchase it, make sure you put it in the right position. Many infant car seats allow you to place your child in a rear-facing position, provided that he or she is under a year old and less than 20 pounds. Anyone who looks closely at these seats can visibly tell that they were designed for newborns and small babies by the way that they are made and through their portability. Parents should place their infant-only car seat in the back seat and face him or her towards the rear of the car.
Unlike infant-only seats, convertible seats will allow your child to grow without having to replace the seat. As your baby grows, they will need a larger, sturdier car seat, and convertible seats fit the bill for your child exactly. Any child who is smaller than 20 pounds or younger than a year can be placed in the rear-facing position in a convertible. When baby turns one and exceeds 20 pounds, you can turn the seat forward-facing; most convertible seats accommodate children up to 40 pounds. Whether you use an infant-only or a convertible seat, be sure to use it in the manner you’re supposed to. Read the seat’s instructions and your vehicle owner’s guide. The car seat should buckle into the car, and the baby should buckle into the seat. Positions of the slot and firmness of the harness strap itself make the harness one of the more complex issues that parents seem to struggle with. The baby’s shoulders are a good way to measure where the straps slide into the slots; for infant car seats they go below, and for convertibles, they go above. Many times parents allow the harness straps to become twisted, and they should not; check your owner’s guide to see where the harness clip should be placed, though a good height is generally around the armpit.
Safety belt use is a common problem, as well so be sure the seat belt follows the correct path for the position of the seat and recline the seat at about a 45-degree angle, if possible. Another tip is to include a rolled up towel that you can place under the seat. Make sure that the safety seat is fastened to your vehicle, and tighten the seat belt as needed. LATCH systems will require you to follow the exact details that should be listed in the vehicle owner’s guide and the car seat manufacturer’s guide. The seat should be in good condition, so if you purchase a used one, double check the label for age. Every seat you buy, even a used one, should include instructions from the manufacturer; your seat should be less than five years old as well. Make sure you have all the parts and know whether it has been in an accident; be safe not sorry - don’t take the chance.

High self esteem is when a child feels important, accepted, in control and purposeful. Having healthy self esteem is to feel lovable and capable. Parents can give their children the excellent self-image that is missing in society today by taking the time to teach, encourage, and praise their child’s efforts. Parents can be the promoter and supporter of what their child becomes in life. You can educate your child at home and become a better person/parent because of it. You really can!
We have to reinforce what we say and do by being consistent with what we say and do. This is the strengthening support that will establish the level of self worth in our child and what he or she does with that self worth.
